The mission of KAUPA is to restore the natural and cultural resources within our ahupua`a through education, outreach and action.

KAUPA is a nonprofit, community-based organization centered in Kalihi Valley. We embrace both the traditional Hawaiian way of caring for our ahupua‘a and the scientific process. We advocate balancing today’s modern challenges with our past wisdom.
